Wicked Fun
Truthfully I'm not a big fan of the new musicals. My heart belongs to South Pacific, Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls and all the good oldies from greats like Rogers and Hammerstein. Call it blasphemy, but I wish Andrew Lloyd Webber had never dabbled in theater.
Nevertheless, I scored some free tickets to the sold-out traveling production of Wicked tonight and it was a chance to make a new friend really happy.
So we went and it was fun. But if you have the chance to see Spamalot, I recommend you see it instead. The Witches of Oz don't hold a candle to Monty Python.

really? i read the book few years back and really enjoyed it..have always wanted to see play but never had the chance.. lucky you even if you didnt like it as much as spamalot.
