A.C. in D.C.

So, Barack Obama came to Charlotte today. We're pretty much the last state in the union to hold a primary and pretty much everyone thought things would be all wrapped up with a neat bow by now. Instead, the North Carolina primary is actually relevant for the first time in, I don't know, ever?

But it wasn't Obama who caused the biggest stir at the rally today. He wasn't even in the house when the crowd was on its feet whooping and hollering and snapping pictures with their cell phones.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Anderson Cooper!

He taped 360 in Charlotte today along with an interview of Obama. Pretty nearly upstaged the main event, too, with all his autograph signing and hand shaking. We sure have our priorities right, eh? With a great head of hair and a regular spot on the TV in our living rooms, you can pretty much rule the universe.

A.C. in D.C. does have a ring to it . . .

All I noticed is that he's very skinny and from where I stood, he looked a bit shorter than I expected. But I'm not a fan, so you two can vote for him. I'll pass. I think he's got the career he has because he's a trust-fund baby who could afford to trot around the globe freelancing until a network picked him up. That's probably just the envy talking. :)
