Holiday Fun

Sorry I've been slow updating the blog lately. It's been a busy few weeks of holiday excitement. Here are a few photos by way of summary.

I spent an evening hanging out with Santa at the North Pole.

He really likes to decorate!

The silly church girls went to a nursing home to sing carols and bring cheer. We held off on the goofy faces until we got back to the church, so as not to scare the old folks.

Christmas Eve dinner ordered from QVC. It was delicious and my friends were so kind to have me over.

Cornbread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, cheesy broccoli rice and super cheesy mac n' cheese from freezer to table in 40 minutes. And no dishes to wash!

And mail order cheesecake to top it off.

After the QVC feast, I went to midnight mass at the big Catholic church. They had a choir with organ and hand bells. It was lovely.

Rose early on Christmas morning to do some work and make a few pies which I took as an offering to another dinner invite. . . such nice people took care of me this Christmas!
