Today I rejoin the land of the living where people drive to work with regular morning traffic, watch prime time TV at night and go to bed after the sun sets.
For one week, at least. I get to work a regular day shift for 5 days before doing another week on this nutty 4 a.m. shift. Phew!
I wonder if it'll be easy to get back on a normal sleep schedule? It's 6:20 p.m. and I'm already nodding off. . .
Today I watched another movie to fill the late-afternoon-exhausted-nothing-but-junk-on-TV hours. "Bella" was so NOT what I was expecting. The cover art looks like one of those dreadful Nicholas Sparks sugar-fests so I've ignored it on Redbox for months. My sister even told me to see it (but our tastes rarely coincide, so that was a point against it).
It's a lovely, sad film with a dreamy Latin leading man. A low-budget indie success story. And it's not even a romance! See it if you're feeling tender, thoughtful, introspective.
I've had my fill of movies for awhile, now. Or at least a week. Not sure how else I'll fill my afternoons when I have to do the mornings again in 7 days. For now I'm just going to focus on the thrill of knowing that I don't have to hit the sack while the sun's still high in the sky!

I am not sure if your infamous sister with horrible taste should be offended...?? :-)
Not horrible taste, just drastically different than my own! And if I'd listened to you, I would have seen Bella a lot earlier, yeah? I'm still not reading those vamp books though. No way.
